  • 2 leaves bay leaves for aromatic infusion

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Sauté the aromatics in a large pot over medium heat until fragrant, about 3-4 minutes. Add diced onions and minced garlic.
  2. Add the ground meat to the pot, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned and no longer pink, roughly 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the chopped cabbage, allowing it to wilt slightly for about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Pour in diced tomatoes and broth of your choice, then sprinkle in salt, pepper, and any desired herbs like thyme or bay leaves. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  5. Simmer uncovered for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Optionally, add red pepper flakes for extra heat.
