Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta

A delicious and easy pasta dish featuring succulent shrimp sautéed in garlic butter, tossed with spaghetti and fresh parsley.

Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz spaghetti or any pasta of choice
Shrimp
  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
Sauce
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter divided
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Cook the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook until shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and cooked pasta, tossing to combine. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.
Serve
  1. Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
