Method
Prepare the Ribs
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor and tenderness.
- In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients for the dry rub.
- Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.
Bake the Ribs
- Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
Finish with BBQ Sauce
- Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap the foil.
- Brush BBQ sauce generously over the ribs.
- Return to the oven and bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes.
Serve
- Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
