Ingredients
  

Ribs
  • 2 pounds pork ribs baby back or spare ribs
Dry Rub
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional for heat
BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand

Method
 

Prepare the Ribs
  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor and tenderness.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients for the dry rub.
  4. Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.
Bake the Ribs
  1. Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
Finish with BBQ Sauce
  1. Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap the foil.
  2. Brush BBQ sauce generously over the ribs.
  3. Return to the oven and bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes
