Steak Crostini is a sophisticated yet simple appetizer that will impress at any gathering. Tender marinated flank steak sits atop crispy toasted baguette slices, enhanced by fresh garlic, peppery arugula, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. This delightful combination of flavors and textures makes it an irresistible bite that guests will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 fresh baguette
  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 cups baby arugula
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp balsamic glaze

Instructions

  1. Marinate the flank steak in olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper for at least one hour.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Grill the marinated steak for 4-5 minutes on each side until medium-rare (135°F/57°C). Let it rest before slicing.

  5. Thinly slice the rested steak against the grain and place on each toasted baguette slice.
  6. Top with arugula, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
