- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, panko breadcrumbs, minced garlic, grated ginger, and salt. Mix until just combined.
- Roll about two tablespoons of the mixture into golf-sized balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet with space between each.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and black pepper.
- Bake meatballs for 20 minutes; after 10 minutes, drizzle half of the sauce over the meatballs.
- Once cooked through (internal temperature of 160°F), serve immediately and drizzle with the remaining sauce.
