- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Roll mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place on the baking sheet with space in between.
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- While baking, mix barbecue sauce and honey in a bowl. Adjust sweetness if desired.
- Brush baked meatballs with the sauce and return to the oven for another 5 minutes to caramelize.
