  • 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup unsulfured molasses
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. In a bowl, mix flour, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt.
  3. 3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add molasses and egg; mix until combined.

  5. 5. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill for at least one hour.
  6. 6. Roll out the chilled dough to about 1/4 inch thick and cut into desired shapes using cookie cutters.
