Description

Ingredients

  • 1 crusty French or Italian loaf
  • 6 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine softened butter and minced garlic until well mixed.
  3. Stir in chopped parsley and rosemary into the garlic butter mixture.
  4. Slice the loaf diagonally without cutting all the way through.
  5. Generously spread the garlic herb butter between each slice and stuff with shredded cheese.
  6. Wrap the bread in aluminum foil (shiny side inside) and bake for 15-20 minutes. Unwrap for the last few minutes for extra crispiness.
