Description

Easy Garlic Parmesan Pasta is a creamy, comforting dish that takes just 20-25 minutes to prepare. Perfect for busy weeknights or spontaneous gatherings, this recipe features al dente pasta enveloped in a rich garlic butter sauce and topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and reserve some pasta water.
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Stir in the heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Gradually mix in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed to achieve desired consistency.
