- 2 large eggs
Instructions
- Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden and nutty; set aside to cool slightly.
- In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Create a well; add yeast mixture and browned butter. Mix in eggs one at a time.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth.
- Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled (about 1 hour).
- Punch down dough, divide into equal portions, shape into balls, and place in a greased baking dish.
- Cover and let rise again until doubled (about 30 minutes).
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake rolls for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
