- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (plus more for glazing)
- 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, garlic powder, and half of the BBQ sauce. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on the baking dish with space between each.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of at least 160°F).
- While baking, mix the remaining BBQ sauce with honey and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooked meatballs and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with extra napkins!
