  • 1/2 lb ground pork or chicken
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup finely diced carrots
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground meat, green onions, carrots, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil until fully combined.
  2. Place about one tablespoon of filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold over, and pinch to seal tightly.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange dumplings on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Brush each dumpling with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
