- 2 cups heavy cream

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Peel and thinly slice the Russet potatoes using a mandoline or sharp knife.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream and minced garlic; warm for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Layer half of the potato slices in the baking dish, pour half of the creamy mixture over them, and sprinkle with half of the Gruyère cheese. Repeat layering with remaining ingredients.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
