  • 1 cup brown sugar (220g)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (100g)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (160g)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 medium tart apples, diced (about 200g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown and nutty in aroma; let cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together both sugars; add in the browned butter and mix until smooth.
