Instructions

  3. In another bowl, beat together melted butter (or coconut oil), molasses, honey (or maple syrup), and the egg until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  5. Scoop tablespoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown but centers remain soft. Allow cooling slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
