Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Cut stale bread into cubes or toast fresh slices until dry.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté onions and celery until soft, about 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, sautéed vegetables, sage, thyme, pepper, and enough vegetable broth to moisten but not soak the mixture.
