  • 2 medium zucchinis, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Sauté diced onion and minced garlic until fragrant, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add ground turkey and Italian seasoning; cook until browned, approximately 8 minutes.
  4. Stir in chopped zucchini and tomato sauce; simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Layer half of the mixture in the baking dish, sprinkle with half of the cheese, add the remaining mixture, and top with the rest of the cheese.
