- 3 medium Granny Smith apples (peeled and sliced)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and ¼ cup granulated sugar. Press into the bottom of a greased springform pan and bake for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream and vanilla; mix well. Gradually add remaining sugar until blended.
- Toss sliced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Pour half of the cheesecake filling over the crust, layer half of the apples, then add the remaining filling followed by the rest of the apples.
- In another bowl, combine more graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and brown sugar for the topping; sprinkle over apples.
- Bake for about an hour until set but slightly jiggly in the center. Cool completely before refrigerating for at least four hours or overnight.
