  • 1 cup peeled and deveined shrimp
  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1 package egg roll wrappers
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic until fragrant, then add cabbage and shrimp. Cook until tender.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in green onions and soy sauce to combine.
  3. Lay an egg roll wrapper flat, spoon filling onto the center, fold, and roll tightly.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan to about 350°F (175°C). Fry egg rolls until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crispiness, double-fry the rolls by cooking them at a lower temperature first.
