Instructions

  1. Marinate the Steak: Slice flank steak against the grain into thin strips. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Add steak strips and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  3. Cook the Steak: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Remove steak from marinade (reserve marinade) and sear in batches until browned on both sides, about 2 minutes each side.
  4. Create the Sauce: Pour reserved marinade into the skillet and simmer for about 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Combine Everything: Toss blanched broccoli with cooked steak and sauce in the skillet until well coated.
