  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  5. While baking, heat marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Once meatballs are done, add them to the sauce and let simmer for about five minutes.
  6. Serve warm over pasta or in hoagie rolls drizzled with extra marinara.
