- 1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat dry. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat a splash of oil over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Place seasoned chicken breasts in the skillet on top of the onions. Pour in BBQ sauce and chicken broth to coat.
