  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 8 oz sliced beef (sirloin or flank steak)
  • 1 cup mixed fresh vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, snap peas)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by chopping vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Cook lo mein noodles in boiling water for 4-5 minutes until al dente; drain and toss with sesame oil.
  3. In a skillet or wok over medium-high heat, sauté sliced beef until browned (3-4 minutes). Remove from pan.
  4. Stir-fry garlic and mixed vegetables in the same pan until bright and slightly tender (3-5 minutes).
  5. Add back the cooked noodles and beef, pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce mixture, and toss to combine.
  6. Serve immediately, garnishing with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
